Rebecca Turmel initially planned to pursue a career in musical theatre, but her passion for storytelling took a turn when she taught herself guitar and began creating unique adaptations of her favorite songs. Her most recent release, “Twenty Years From Now” is a cover song that perfectly exemplifies her ability to make each song her own.
Describing Rebecca’s sound is difficult as a wide range of music influences her. However, we do know that her voice is somehow both powerful and vulnerable. She has a unique talent for storytelling and always connects with her listeners on a personal level. Although she is a relatively new songwriter, Rebecca Turmel‘s catchy tunes and relatable narratives prove her potential as an artist, and the future of her music career looks exciting and bright. Keep your eye on her.
 
The Listening Room at Prayers of Nature provides a studio to showcase the art of original music. Allowing musicians to authentically share their work in a ripe space conducive to performances and conversations about the art form. An event for creative enthusiasts to witness grassroots performances, and an opportunity to connect with and support the artists directly.

After purchase, you will download a digital confirmation of your reserved seat. Upon arrival please provide the name of the person who reserved seats and how many seats they reserved.

Because of the small space, only animals that qualify as service animals as defined by the ADA are permitted during the event, and we must know this ahead of time. This excludes “emotional support” animals. 
Please note that our studio is under 2,000 sq ft and has limited space with a capacity of 15 - 20 seats. Seat reservations are for general admission. First come. First serve.
Music merch may be available for purchase and the art studio will be open for shopping. 
Light refreshments will be available. BYOB in moderation. 
Donations are not refundable unless the event is canceled by extreme weather, an illness of the host or performers or an emergency and is at the discretion of the host and performers.
