Dylan Patrick Ward is a folk misfit from Vermont's dirty south, known for his poignant storytelling and irreverent sense of humor. Equal parts country-folk troubadour and indie-rock weirdo, his songs weave stories of outcasts, oddballs and people on the brink, and have earned him comparisons to great musical tragicomedians like John Prine, Randy Newman and the Mountain Goats.
A promising up-and-comer, he's been featured in The Monday Discovery Series at Club Passim and the Emerging Artist Showcase at Falcon Ridge Folk Festival. He's also shared the stage with renowned acts like Bill Callahan, Guy Davis, Jeffrey Lewis, Peter Mulvey and others. His new album Ne'er-Do-Wells is available to stream everywhere.
The Listening Room at Prayers of Nature provides a studio to showcase the art of original music. Allowing musicians to authentically share their work in a ripe space conducive to performances and conversations about the art form. An event for creative enthusiasts to witness grassroots performances and an opportunity to connect with and support the artists directly.
Seats are limited to 20 & are available on a general admission basis. This means while patrons are guaranteed entry, specific seats are not assigned. Seats can be reserved online, but if reservations are not sold out, remaining seats can be claimed at the door on the day of the event. Once all seats are claimed, it’s pay at the door & standing room only
Music merch may be available for purchase, and the art studio will be open for shopping. Coffee, tea & water will be available. BYOB in moderation.
