Hikari McDowell is a freshman studying music education at the University of New Hampshire. A graduate of Merrimack High School in Merrimack, New Hampshire, Hikari played lead alto saxophone with the NAfME All-Eastern Jazz Band in April of 2025. He also earned seven top score awards for saxophone in 2024 and 2025, five of which are from NHMEA’s Jazz All-State, and two of which are from NHMEA’s Classical All-State. Jody Bregler, on drums and other things, has been a fixture on the music scene in the Boston/New England area for over 30 years. Jody is a graduate of Berklee College of Music, where he studied with jazz legends Bob Gullotti and Joe Hunt. Additionally, Jody has toured regionally and internationally with various groups playing jazz as well as other styles of music over the years. Jody lists drummers such as Billy Higgins, Tony Williams, Elvin Jones, and Mel Lewis as some of the drummers who have influenced his style the most.
